Extrusion Steps
Step 1
Aluminum
Tifton Extrusions, Inc. warehouses an inventory of various aluminum alloys to be used to extrude finished products
for our customers.
Step 2
Extrusion Press
The billets are heated to approximately 850 degrees F. and then extruded through one of many standard dies or a customer-specified
die to create the desired shape.
Step 3
Run-Out Table
The newly extruded shape moves down the
run-out table. It is then transferred to the
walking beam cooling table.
